Whether you're a keen cyclist, a mad mountain-biker or just wanting a leasurely ride with your family, the Bearn region can satisfy all appetites.

Picturesque tracks beside bubbling mountain "gaves" (local rivers), winding paths through oak tree woods, scenic views along the ridges of the mountain tops: whatever your level you'll find plenty to satisfy you. Lovers of "cols" also won't be left out: the region includes the Marie Blanque col (1035 m) towards the Aspe Valley, l'Aubisque (1709 m), the Soulor col (1474 m) leading to Argelès-Gazost and the Pourtalet (1794 m) on the way to Spain.

By the way, did you know the Pyrenees will celebrate this year their centanary in the Tour de France which will spend 4 days in our region and will only some km away from Issor

The braver among you even took the opportunity to participate in "l'Etape du Tour", which started in Pau and finished in Hautacam on July 18th 2010.
